About Us

Central Xingu is a bioeconomy company with roots in the Amazon, which connects the region's biodiversity to a global market that values excellence, purpose and sustainability.

View of the forest at the Central Xingu

We work in production and processing
of forest inputs, offering socio-biodiversity ingredients with traceability and positive impact.

Our products serve companies and consumers who seek to value transparent chains, unique flavors and practices that respect the forest.

We believe in innovative business models that benefit everyone.

We protect and regenerate the forest, strengthen local communities, and deliver quality and transparency to the end customer.

With technique, integrity and purpose, we select, benefit and deliver the best of the forest. Our regenerative value chains and stringent quality standards ensure complete traceability, connecting producers and consumers.

Manifesto

Regenerating is a pleasure.

The flavors of the Amazon are filled with stories, where life flows from the rivers and flows into the deep roots. The roots intertwine, support and help keep the forest standing.

In our ecosystem, innovation flourishes, and making a difference is our favorite flavor.

We are here to connect people to the best that the Amazon has to offer and, in addition, to give back the best we have to the Amazon.

Cooperation is the key to preserving a future that we can still save. To nurture relationships where everyone thrives.
And to delight the palates with the wonders that spring from this green immensity.

What we do

We connect people to flavors that regenerate

We source high-quality ingredients and products from the Amazon rainforest — it offers us the best of nature.

At Central Xingu, our differential is in transforming this wealth into products with consistent quality and sensory intensity.

CUMARU

We work side by side with brands and companies that seek unique and very high quality Amazonian ingredients.

We build solid and lasting partnerships, rooted in the territory, connecting those who cultivate and regenerate the forest to those who value flavor, origin and real impact.

Our way of doing it

01.

Quality
& Consistency

Quality is not improvised, it is cultivated.
From seed to final product, we follow strict standards at every step to ensure sensory excellence and consistency. We combine good practices in the field, careful post-harvest and innovation to bring out the best in each Amazonian ingredient.

Ingrained Innovation

We combine traditional knowledge with technology, monitoring parameters accurately to improve each step of the process.

Partnerships with Meaning

We build long-lasting and fair relationships with producers committed to delivering quality, from planting to harvesting.

Careful Post-Harvest

We have developed tailor-made fermentation, drying and storage protocols that reveal flavor and ensure sensory stability between batches and vintages.

Our way of doing it

02.

Regeneration
& Preservation

Generating value is also taking care of the forest

We transform production practices into allies of conservation and restoration, combining agroforestry, active regeneration, and standing forest to unite economic viability and positive impact.

The standing forest is worth more. Therefore, we grow ingredients in SAFs, support the recovery of degraded areas and value products that only exist because the forest has been preserved.

Agroforestry Systems (AFS)

We replicate the logic of the forest with biodiverse crops that regenerate the soil and ensure resilient and sustainable production.

Regenerative Transition

We support farmers in the productive restoration of degraded areas, offering technical support, inputs and joint action in the field.

Standing Forest

We value ingredients from preserved territories, where the protection of the forest generates real income, without deforestation.

Our way of doing it

03.

Transparency
& Traceability

Trust does not spring up on its own, it is sown and cultivated.

We accompany each ingredient — from origin to destination — with presence, method and commitment, so that trust is built on concrete foundations.

We value direct and lasting partnerships, bringing those who cultivate closer to those who transform. Together, we promote transparency and traceability on the social, environmental and economic impacts of our chains.

Relationships of Trust

We are the link between those who cultivate and those who transform, with real and lasting bonds on both sides of the chain.

Real Transparency

We believe in open doors. We welcome our partners on the ground and share clear data on practices, contexts, and impacts.

Accessible Traceability

We collect and communicate essential data with simple and effective tools, facilitating informed decisions and strengthening trust.

Our impact is still a sprout, but it already carries the strength of a forest.

We are cultivating solid results, with time, patience and deep roots. Follow our journey.

Our Team

We unite science and practice, strategy and execution, the Amazon and the world.

As in a well-thought-out agroforestry system, each person has a unique role.

And it is in this encounter that transformation happens.

Where we are

Sítio Pé Na Mata is our base in the heart of the Amazon.

Located half an hour from the center of Altamira, Sítio Pé Na Mata occupies 13 hectares on the banks of the Igarapé Panelas, a tributary of the Xingu River. With half of the area still covered by forest, it is our base of operation and the starting point to regenerate, benefit and show, in practice, what we believe in.

    Glossary

    AGROFORESTRY

A form of land use that integrates tree species and agricultural crops in arrangements that replicate the structure and ecological processes of the forest. It stimulates natural regeneration, conserves biodiversity and promotes environmental balance , generating food, income and lasting benefits for the soil and climate.

    PROCESSING

Stage of transformation of raw materials into inputs or products of higher value. In the case of cocoa, it mainly involves the processes of selection, fermentation and drying, which are fundamental for the development of flavor and quality.

    BIOECONOMY

Economic model based on the sustainable use of natural resources and biodiversity, promoting development combined with forest conservation and the well-being of communities.

    REGENERATIVE VALUE CHAINS

Productive networks that restore the environment and strengthen communities, promoting positive impact instead of just extracting resources.

    STANDING FOREST

A concept that values the economic, social and environmental benefits generated by the preserved forest, demonstrating that conserving can be more profitable and sustainable than deforesting.

    INNOVATION

At Central Xingu, it represents the union between traditional knowledge and new technologies to improve production processes, value Amazonian ingredients and strengthen regenerative practices.

    TRACEABILITY

Ability to follow the path of a product from its origin to the final consumer, ensuring transparency, trust and responsibility in the production chains.

    REGENERATION

Process of restoring ecosystems and production practices, seeking to restore vitality to the soil and the forest — and not just reduce negative impacts.

    AGROFORESTRY SYSTEMS (ASFS)

Multistratum cultivation models that integrate trees of different sizes, agricultural crops and sometimes animal husbandry, organized in layers as in a mature forest. They promote high biodiversity, soil protection, and climate resilience, while ensuring productivity and income generation over time.

    SOCIOBIODIVERSITY

Integration between biological diversity and the knowledge, cultures and ways of life of local communities, valuing both natural resources and traditional knowledge.
